Whether we are reproducing an existing profile or running a standard molding in a special wood selection it usually begins with the knives.
We have knives for many of the standard profiles that are used in todays construction, these enable us to make special casing, arch and round top moldings, and moldings in various woods to match the casings in todays houses.
For custom shapes we need a piece of the molding to duplicate. Custom knives are then ground to match the requested profile. The knives are set into the molding machine and the molding is run.
Depending on the shape and style, certain moldings may be produced on the table saw or with a shaper or router. When the moldings are completed they are packed for pickup or delivery.
