The Short Run Molding Company is a spin-off of Payne Carpentry Associates, a company that was founded in 1982 specializing in interior trim and cabinetry. Whether it is a new construction or renovation work, custom moldings are always needed. Sometimes your need may be to match an existing molding, making a roundtop casing for an arch top window or just running a special molding designed by the architect or owner. Often the need can be for a standard profile but produced in a special selection of wood species. Lumber yards can sell stock moldings, but are generally unable to provide those same moldings in specialty species of wood and custom shapes.
Our company was founded to provide custom solutions at a reasonable cost for builders and home owners.
